On Sunday 18th of February will open an exhibition in Neskirkja Church of a series of 14 paintings by KEES VISSER, CRUX. The opening takes place directly after mass which begins at 11. SIGURÐUR GUÐJÓNSSON has been nominated as for this year’s Icelandic Art Prize, for his show ‘Inlight‘. This will be the first time the award is given, The Icelandic Visual Arts Council is the founder of the prize, who’s aim is to honour and promote outstanding Icelandic contemporary art and encourage new artistic forms and creation.
