BERG CONTEMPORARY ANNOUNCES REPRESENTATION OF NEW ARTISTS AND UPCOMING FAIRS

BERG Contemporary is delighted to announce that the gallery now represents Dodda Maggý (b. 1981), Kees Visser (b. 1948) and John Zurier (b. 1956).

BERG Contemporary at UNTITLED, Miami Beach 2018

At the 2018 edition of UNTITLED, Miami Beach, BERG Contemporary will present works by three artists of different backgrounds and nationalities; John Zurier, Kees Visser and Páll Haukur Björnsson. Sigurður Guðjónsson exhibits at Nordatlantens Brygge

Sigurður Guðjónsson will exhibit his 2016 video work Well at the exhibition HIGH & LOW – contemporary art from Iceland at Nordatlantens Brygge in Copenhagen. The exhibition features works from the 1970’s until today by eleven contemporary Icelandic artists that work in a wide range of media. The title refers to the unpredictable Icelandic weather conditions

BERG Contemporary at LOOP Barcelona 2018

BERG Contemporary will be presenting the video work Recorder (2010) by Sigurður Guðjónsson at the 2018 edition of LOOP Barcelona. In Recorder two tape reels rotate above a pool of water, into which droplets of water fall. The sound of the water and the repetitive rotational movement of the reels draw the viewer into a powerful visual world.
