DODDA MAGGÝ & Sigurður Guðjónsson in Addis Video Art Festival

Taking place between December 24th and January 3rd 2018 at various venues in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the 2nd Addis Video Art Festival features the work of DODDA MAGGÝ and SIGURÐUR GUÐJÓNSSON. Their showcases  are a part of a video program curated by Erin Honeycutt, aiming to create a dialogue between local and international artists by encouraging digital media culture.

Steina & Woody Vasulka at ZKM Karlsruhe

Several works by Steina & Woody Vasulka will be exhibited in the exhibition Art in Motion. 100 Masterpieces with and through Media. An Operative Canon, which opens Friday July 13th in ZKM, Karlsruhe. Woody Vasulka’s installation Light Revisited (1974-2001) will be exhibited as well as the video works Vocabulary, The Art of Memory and Voice Windows.

INLIGHT by Sigurður Guðjónsson exhibited at Kleifar

Sigurður Guðjónsson opens his exhibition INLIGHT at Kleifar this coming Saturday, July 7th. INLIGHT was originally shown in the fall of 2017 in the chapel and morgue of St. Josephs Chapel, Hafnarfjörður and earned Sigurður the Icelandic Art Prize.
