RÓSA GÍSLADÓTTIR EXHIBITS AT SKÁLHOLT

Rósa Gísladóttir’s exhibition Displacement opens at 11:30 in Skálholt on Saturday August 18th. On display are geometric and symmetrical sculptures made of jesmonite, originally shown in Rome in 2012.

The exhibition is a part of the annual festival of the arts in Skálholt, one of country´s most important historic sites and the cultural and spiritual center of the country for centuries.

BERG Contemporary at Loop Art Fair, Barcelona

In light of current circumstances, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Loop Art Fair in Barcelona presents its 2020 hybrid edition, with BERG Contemporary presenting works by video artist Sigurður Guðjónsson. The fair will remain its physical format with the presentation of LOOP Salon, which brings together a selection of works from the fair at the Museu d’Història

Monika Grzymala at the Dresden Royal Palace, Germany

Monika Grzymala’s new outdoor installation project at the Dresden Royal Palace courtyard in Germany is now on view. It features a site-specific long-term project titled Raumzeichnung (stop motion), made out of sculpted paper, wire and fishing line. The work remains on view until the beginning of 2021. BERG CONTEMPORARY AT FRIEZE MASTERS 2020

BERG Contemporary showcases graphic works by the Swiss artist Dieter Roth (1930-1998) at this year‘s Frieze Masters.
