Three of BERG Contemporary’s artists are currently exhibiting their work at Verksmiðjan, Hjalteyri. Steina, Dodda Maggý and Sigurður Guðjónsson all have video works at the exhibition OH, SO QUIET! Music as we look at it: art and cinema which opened July 28th. The exhibition is curated by Pascale Cassagnau of the Centre national des arts plastiques (National Centre for Visual Arts) and focuses on the intersectionality between art and cinema, featuring works by both French and Icelandic artists. Verksmiðjan is an exhibition space for contemporary art located in Hjalteyri, and old herring factory in the north of Iceland.
