Sigurður Guðjónsson takes part in Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival with four video works, Relief (2015), Balance (2013), Veil (2012) and Recorder (2010).
Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival was conceived in the minds of a group of Jihlava grammar school students in 1997. Each autumn, the Jihlava IDFF brings together thousands of viewers, directors, artists, producers, film critics and journalists – friends and fans of documentary cinema – to spend several days “thinking through film”. Today, 20 years later, it has become a celebration of creative documentary cinema and has long been recognised as the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe.
This year the festival will take place from October 25th, through October 30th 2017.
